Producer
Andres Fahsen is the 5th generation coffee producer of the agro-forest farm, Santo Tomás Pachuj, located in the Atitlán region near Volcan Tolimán. This farm has been passed down from generation to generation for 150 years. At first it was a part of a larger family farm named Pampojilá. In 1986, these farms split and Andres’ farm became Finca Santo Tomás Pachuj. Andres’ first memories were made at Finca Pachuj with his family, and he hopes that one day his daughter will be the 6th generation producer of this farm. He takes great pride in Pachuj’s ability to employ workers from this region with a living wage and a familial work atmosphere. He provides working benefits for his employees that are not common in most Guatemalan coffee farms. Andres also has a passion for sustainable, organic agro-forestry farming in order to protect and preserve the sublime land and life on the farm for generations to come. Pachuj is a Kaqchikel word meaning “where the mist meets the forest”, and this word could not be more accurate in describing the micro-climate of this region. In between the lowlands and the highlands in the Atitlán region there are high levels of humidity and many places where the clouds and the forests meet to make a climate specific to this area of Guatemala. The majority of the land on the farm in pachuj is a natural forest reserve. One can see the thriving biodiversity in the many different plants, animals and insects found amongst the farmland; Andres has even spotted Mountain Lions roaming the farms of Pachuj.

Decaf Coffee That Delivers
Caffeine and I had to cool it this year, and I thought that meant settling for boring decaf. The first sip I had of Wimp changed that. I saw there was hope on the horizon – I could have decaf coffee that tasted incredible and had the clean, balanced mouthfeel of a specialty coffee.
Clean decaf! Yussss!
The chemicals I’d heard were in decaf freaked me out, so I searched for something clean. I found Wimp. Weird name, great coffee. Count me in.
SO MUCH BETTER!
Decaf coffee has generally been ick! I had virtually given up and had resorted to thinking that it was just going to all be bad… until Wimp. I was shocked at the depth and the full flavors! I'm weirdly excited about this.
WTF did my buzz go?
Someone replaced my caffeine with lies. Put the buzz back or I will be forced to refer Wimp to management.
Coffee any time of day.
I would love to have a coffee after noon, but that's never been an option. Sleep is too important. Decaf options suck, but not anymore. Wimp is changing things.
